Yesterday I rented the new Conan movie. If you haven’t seen it, it’s a great film, and there’s a good reason why.
You see, Shakespeare it ain’t. If you’re looking for culture, romance, great dialogue you’ve taken a horrible wrong turn somewhere. But there was one line in the film’s description that sums up in two short sentences why it was a great, turn your brain off, Saturday night movie. It went like this:
“Strong, bloody violence throughout. One sex scene”
Yep, that’ll do it!
As far as movies go, if you want to guarantee success, that starting point is a pretty good way to do it.
In fact you could reverse it and go, “Strong, graphic sex throughout. One violent scene” and it’ll probably still be successful!
Where am I going with this?
When you’re trying to lose weight or acheive any fitness goal, like those two short sentences that are the building blocks of a whole two hour film, your success or failure can be determined within the first couple of minutes of you making that decision.
Below I’m going to show you a quick 5 minute exercise that only needs a camera, a bit of paper, and a pen. Doing it will firstly tell you if you’re ready to start a weight loss programme, and if you are, how that same little exercise you just did will guarantee that you succeed.
