Spotlight Sunday: Sue Fenwick! “Today I feel in the best shape of my life, have such a positive outlook on life, and I’m a role model to my kids”

I am 44, had 4 kids and work full time. My journey started in 2014 when I saw myself in a holiday snap and was shocked at my size. This is a picture of me at that time:

I was nearly 14 stone, a size 16, a drinker, and a smoker. I felt really sluggish most days, I was short of breath walking up stairs and I wobbled when I walked.

I made the decision that I was going to lose weight.

I tried all sorts of diets; Slim fast, Weight Watchers, the one with red and green days, but nothing worked consistently.

In, I think it was 2015, I stumbled across PW fitness on the Internet. I was sceptical at first but then took the plunge and signed up for a 21-day introduction.

I remember my first session well! It was really daunting walking up the stairs and into the studio on my own, but when I opened the door, I was greeted by Anthony and everyone made me feel really welcome – it felt really comfortable.

OK, my first session nearly killed me… but there was no judgement, no competition, only encouragement to come back and keep going.

I have met some lovely, lovely people and never looked back! I go to the 6:30 AM session 3 times per week… even in the snow!

Anthony often puts on challenges in education evenings where I have learned so much more about nutrition and exercise. Today I am 11 stone and a size 10 to 12. I don’t smoke or drink and feel in the best shape of my life, have such a positive outlook on life, and I’m a role model to my kids!

Holidays look fabulous now!

Going to PW is just part of my life now. I couldn’t even consider not going! I am so pleased I found PW and am grateful to the lovely trainers and people who inspire and motivate me everyday.
